WIN Supports JDRF

Diabetes is a life-threatening disease that kills one American every three minutes. In 2011 Ralph Oats, Founder of Wellness International Network is taking a stand against type 1 diabetes by supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and encouraging Wellness International Network’s consumers to do the same. “The foundation of our business is to help improve people’s health and their quality of life,” shares Ralph Oats, Wellness International Network Founder. “Cathy and I are very proud to support this organization and help find a cure for juvenile diabetes, which affects 17 million people.” During 2011 Wellness International Network will feature JDRF on its worldwide shopping cart as the company’s featured charity. Ralph Oats and his wife, Cathy, have hosted the JDRF’s Dream Gala twice and in 2008 Wellness International Network hosted a special charity bowling event for JDRF, Strike Out Diabetes, where more than $12,000 dollars was raised during the company’s annual Gala event. Wellness International Network is looking forward to raising even more money in 2011 in hopes of getting closer to a cure for juvenile diabetes. |
