As some of WIN’s elite Top Producers and Top Earners in the company, Bob and April enjoy a life they once only dreamed of. “We were a very blue collar family. My dad was an auto-mechanic; his dad was a police officer,” says April, formerly in the construction industry. “We were raised to ‘work hard, make as much money as you can, save some money, and hopefully everything will be ok.’” Through their WIN business, they have since been able to feed into their entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy an ever-expanding business. “I was never taught to be entrepreneurial, to be a risk-taker, go out and pursue my dreams — all that came about through the personal growth in this business,” shares Bob, former owner of a picture-framing company.
Bob and April joined WIN 20 years ago and haven’t looked back since. With a proven track record and an innovative and progressive approach to health and wellness, WIN continues paving the way for countless more to achieve physical, mental and financial wellness.
“I’d never grown more personally than I have in this business. It has given me the belief that I can do anything I put my mind to,” shares Bob. “Our lifestyle has changed dramatically since starting WIN. We were on the verge of losing our home when my business went bankrupt. Our first goal was to replace my salary, $100,000 per year, and keep the house. So many things have happened since then, we replaced my income in the first year, kept the house, paid off the house in five years, bought a second house on the ocean in our eighth year, retired for a little while, moved and bought a bigger house in Florida to go with the house along the ocean in Long Island, New York, drive the best of cars, traveled around the world on cruises, and have earned millions of dollars, I could keep going on forever.”
Besides the vacations, cars and houses, the biggest and most important change for Bob and April has been time freedom. “With a business like ours, combined with today’s technology, you don’t have to be in an office all the time, which means you can be out with your kids and doing business at the same time,” shares Bob of being able to do business anytime and anywhere. "It’s priceless that I can do both.” From working 80-hour-weeks, making only a fraction of what they make now; to being in charge of their time, finances and future has been a drastic improvement. “I could never imagine not working. WIN has taken the guilt out of working at something I want to do because I can also be there so much of the time when my family needs me. That time freedom has been huge for me,” shares April. |
